Lollipop Crab

'Lollipop' has a form unlike any other crab apple. Covered with white
flowers in spring, followed by abundant gold-amber fruits in autumn.
Shows good resistance to scab, cedar apple rust and mildew. This
cultivar is grafted on a 42” standard.

Pink Spires Crab

Spread: 12' Fruit: Purple-red, 1/2", persistent
Shape: Narrow, upright Zone: 2-7
Ideal for a confined screen or border planting, this excellent rosy
bloom crab was selected by W. L. Kerr, Canada Department of
Agriculture, Sutherland, Saskatchewan. Foliage is red-purple in spring
turning to green-bronze in summer, and copper in fall.

Prairifire Crab

Shape: Upright, spreading becoming rounded
Flower: Single, dark purplish red
Fruit: Maroon, cone shaped, 3/8-1/2", persistent
This disease resistant cross by Dr. Dan Dayton, University of Illinois,
has especially good foliage retention during summer. It blooms later
than most crabs. The bark is a glossy dark red with numerous prominent
lenticels, and the fruit does not drop.

Certainly one of the prettiest red-leafed crabapples we’ve seen. Has a better summer color and appearance than most redleaf
crabapples. Abundant magenta-pink blossoms stand out handsomely against reddish-purple, cutleaf foliage. Shows good
resistance to fireblight.

This fruitless Canadian introduction is completely covered with pink
buds that open to fragrant white flowers in spring. It has bright
green, shiny foliage and good heat tolerance.

This dwarf Sargent-type crab has pink to red buds that open to white flowers, followed by tiny red crabapples. It is disease
resistant and is a highly ornamental small tree for limited spaces.\

Autumn Brilliance Serviceberry

This tremendously popular tree offers white blossoms in spring,
followed by showy, sweet purplish-black fruit. Heavily branched, the
tree has an interesting spreading branch pattern, and attractive light
gray bark. The brilliant fall leaves are quite persistent. Own root.

This handsome tree bears small pink flowers in spring before leaves appear. Later brown fruit pods form. This strain is grown
from seed collected at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. It does well in sun and part shade.

Pagoda Dogwood

This graceful small tree has pale yellow flowers in May, followed by
blue-black fruit, and the leaves turn a beautiful maroon red
in the fall. Branches grow in irregular tiers, forming a somewhat
horizontal, layered look to the plant. Pot or plant under conditions of
high humidity until growth is established.

PeeGee Hydrangea

PeeGee Hydrangea, trained to a single stem with a head, blooms in July
and August with very showy, large conical white flowers which change to
pink bronze towards autumn. The flower heads dry easily when cut, and
are perfect for use in arrangements.
